1.5 oz Rum (Plantation Stiggins' Fancy Pineapple Dark Rum)
1 oz Campari
1 oz Sweet Vermouth (Punt e Mes)
Stir all ingredients and serve either up or over very large ice. Garnish with a flamed orange peel.
I love a Negroni as much as anyone, and so I'm always trying variations on the classic beverage. This week I chose the above combo, and it really hit home! The Stiggins' Fancy is great stuff, and its character was able to shine through even with all the bitter action from the Campari and Punt. This is now one of my favorite beverages, and I will be making it again soon. Time to buy more Stiggins!
